Somebody Changed The Lock

Lyrics: Mac Rebennack
Music: Mac Rebennack

Played by Anders Osborne with Bill Kreutzmann as part of a concert in tribute to Dr John.

Somebody changed the lock, on my door
And you know that key, it won't fit in that lock no more
I've been standing on my little porch all night long
And I know, something is definitely going on wrong

You know that light is dim, your shades are way down low
I knocked and I knocked, until my fist got sore from banging so hard

I've been standing on my front porch, all night long
And you know, and I know, that something is definitely going on wrong
You changed the lock, you changed it, on my door
It ain't right no more
My key, it don't fit in that lock no more
What's the matter with you baby
The key don't fit in my lock no more
Oh don't yo understand, baby
That that key don't fit in my lock no more
