In Hank Harrison's book "The Dead", he includes a 1970 interview with Pigpen, in which Pigpen describes an early band he played
in (in around 1963) called the Zodiacs, led by Troy Weidenheimer.
HH: What tunes did you do?No tapes of the Zodiacs seem to be in circulation.
PIG: "Searchin", "Walking the Dog", "Sen-Sa-Shun", "San-Ho-Zay" (a Freddie King guitar instrumental), Jimmy Reed tunes.
