A typewritten collection of lyrics written by Robert Hunter for Jerry Garcia was put up for auction in 2026. The list of lyrics includes one titled "For 2 Cents Plain". I don't have access to the lyric itself, so that's all I know.
I'm not clear what if any the connection is, but "For 2 Cents Plain" was a 1959 collection of essays by Harry Golden.
