"Twist and Shout" was also sung by Joey Covington with the Grateful Dead and other members of the Jefferson Airplane on 7 September 1969. It segues out of a very raw version of Louie Louie.

It has also been played as a jam (no lyrics) by Phil Lesh & Friends in 2002. And before that by Bob Weir with Nightfood and in a Furthur Festival jam.
