Bob Weir explained how Caution (Do Not Stop On Tracks) developed:
"How the Caution jam developed is we were driving around listening to the radio, like we used to do a lot, and the song Mystic Eyes by Them was on, and we were all saying, 'Check this out! We can do this!' So we got to the club where we were playing and we warmed up on it. We lifted the riff from Mystic Eyes and extrapolated it into Caution, and I think Pigpen just made up the words."Although Bob Weir says the Warlocks "warmed up" with Mystic Eyes" there is no evidence they ever played it live
One Sunday mornin'
A-we went walkin'
Down by, the old graveyard
The mornin' fog
I looked into
A-yeah, those mystic eyes
Her mystic eyes
Mystic eyes
Mystic eyes
Mystic, eyes
Mystic eyes
Mystic eyes
Oh, the mystic eyes
