I'll Take You There

Lyrics: Robert Hunter
Music: Bruce Hornsby

A Robert Hunter song that he hasn't yet performed. This from his journal for 7 August 2004:

"So involved in writing a new song "I'll Take You There" and learning to play an accurate samba beat."
And this from his journal for 13-25 August 2004:
"My one pointless regret from the tour-ette (damn!) is that I didn't perform "I'll Take You There" as promised. Still some ways from mastering its voicings, even with daily practice."
Bruce Hornsby has recently (2013) started playing a song "I'll Take You There", apparently with lyrics by Robert Hunter. So I assume it's the same song, now set to music by Hornsby. Any help with the lyrics gratefull received.
Light as a feather, take to the air
Light as a feather, floating
Light as a feather floating on air
I'll take you there

I'll take you there, I'll go with you
Down by the banks of green like we used to do
Down in the shadows of the banks below
And if your heart says yes, I won't say no
I'll take you there

Places you've forgotten you know
Lost in the shovel of long ago
Sun, moon, seashells, wind in your hair
I'll take you there, floating on air
I'll take you there

I'll take you there, I'll go with you
Dream the original dream, like we used to do
Under the moonlight on a nice old [wreck]
Just say the word, I'll take you there
I'll take you there

Just say the word
If your heart says yes, I won't say no
No, I'll take you there
Down in the shadows of the banks, of the banks below
If you're ready to go, I'll take you there
[On the, in the air, down low]
Low, slow, not quick
Down in the shadows of the slow, slow
Let me know when you're ready to go
Been a long time thinking
Wind in sails is a-billowing slow
And the sun is sinking

I'll take you home, I'll take you there
Where the [tree bark's] singing love's own sweet song in the cool green air
It could be tragic, it could be hell
But you never know, it might turn out well
I'll take you there

So many places, pull at your heart
But you never could afford to fail
Those picture postcards [apart]
I'll take you there, floating on air
I'll take you there

I'll take you there, where the music's playing
The words to the song are always [same]
Let's scrub our hearts till the love shines through
When you're ready to go, I'll go with you
I'll take you there

Yeah, just say the word
If your heart's says yes, I won't say no
No, I'll take you there
Down in the shadows of the banks, of the banks below
Let me know if you're ready to go
I'll take you there over [indian]
Down slow, not quick
Down in the shadows, slow, slow

[Then it very begins in the port] of the skies
You reckon it should be some stranger's eyes
The lights are better, better floating on air
I'll take you, take you there
Take you there
Don't know nothing, [on the view]
Not too much, that is true
Seen it all and still don't care
I'll take you there

I'll take you there in the breath of the song
If you can stand for a moment and not hold on
This illusion of hate, it's a personal thing
A melody played on just one string
But it takes you there

Just say the word
If your heart says yes, I won't say no
No, I'll take you there
Down in the shadows of the banks, of the banks below
If you're ready to go
I'll take you there, on the [indian]
Down low, slow, not quick
Down in the shadows of, the shadows of the banks below
Oh yeah
